Setup Practice Payment Details, Add Group NPIs, Payers, Enroll for Claim Submission and ERAs and Add Contracted Rates

Learn how to configure your billing section, add group NPIs, set up payers, and handle claim submissions and ERAs.

Accessing Billing and Payment Settings

Go to Settings to open the billing configuration section. Navigate to Billing and Payments and select Billing Settings.

Configuring Online Payments

Choose your payment method (Stripe, Omnipay, or Cardpoint) under the Online Payments tab. Enter your billing address, and if it matches your practice address, check the "Same as Practice Address" box.

Managing Billing Access Control

Enable Billing Access Control to restrict billing info to admin roles. Turn on the option to show the fee breakdown when creating appointments, so copay and insurance details are visible.

Adding Group NPIs

Go to the Insurance section and click Add NPI. Enter the required details. If it's for a group, check the Group NPI box. Add the Tax ID, Taxonomy Code, address, and enrollment contact information. You can specify if another person is authorized as the contact.

Specify if the claim should list a rendering provider.

Adding and Managing Payers

Under Payers, click Add Payer. Search by payer name or ID and add them to your list. Once added, you can enroll for claim filing or ERA and edit payers anytime.

Add contracted rates

You can add contracted rates for specific payer and service code if needed.

If a payer isn’t available for online claims, select Add Manual Payer and input them manually.

Download and send the CMS 1500 form to the clearinghouse as required.

Upload payers in bulk or import spreadsheets for payer lists or CPT rate schedules.

Review Enrollments

In the Enrollments tab, view all live enrollments. Data syncs automatically, but you can refresh it manually as needed.

Configure Claim Default Settings

Assign team member NPIs for the clearinghouse. If clinical profiles are complete, info is reflected automatically in claim settings. Customize these settings for your practice as needed.

This guide walks you through adding NPIs, setting up payers, and enrolling for efficient claim submission and ERAs, and setting up payer contracted service rates for payers.
