Medication Audit Log Access Guide
How to Access and Use the Medication Audit Log in Omnipractice
Stay on top of medication administration by easily tracking every action using Omnipractice’s Medication Audit Log. This feature helps you investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records for your clients.
Step 1: Go to Client Medication to view medications added to a client’s profile.

Step 2: Select the Medication Log to see detailed records of medication activities.


Step 3: Check the Pill Count History Log for past pill count changes related to the client.

Step 4: Open Settings and select Medication Audit Logs. If you do not see this, ask your admin to enable the permission for you to access the Medication Audit Log.

Step 5: Review the comprehensive list of every medication-related action—adding, updating, or administering medications.

Step 6: Apply filters to narrow down the logs:
Use the Date Filter to select a specific period.
Filter by Team Members to see actions taken by particular staff.
Filter by Client to focus on an individual’s history.

Step 7: Export the logs by clicking the Export button for offline review or sharing.

Using the Medication Audit Log strengthens the integrity of your medication administration and makes sure every action is traceable. Regular reviews help you address discrepancies quickly and keep your records accurate.
