Draft AI Group Notes in One Click - Without Recording the Session
Step 1: Make sure you have a note template in your team library

Step 2: Go to the team library to find group note templates, like the case management group note
Step 3: Add a prompt to your note template so AI can auto-fill notes when you select Generate with AI

Step 4: Confirm your group prompt is ready for use
Step 5: For scheduling group appointments, make sure you have correct session maps for the right CPT code, template, and prompt
Step 6: Go to the Service area and make sure all required codes for group sessions are available

Step 7: Head to Service Mapping. Create a new session type for your group session, choose the default note template, and select the prompt

Step 8: Configure the information you want AI to include in the notes
Step 9: Add the right CPT codes and save the new session type
Step 10: Move on to scheduling. Click Create group appointment and add all the clients for your session

Step 11: Choose your group session type—like case management—and the correct prompt and note template will auto-fill
Step 12: Finish scheduling and check your appointment with the clients listed
Step 13: During your group session, select the AI group note. Open the session and type what each client shares

Step 14: Click View Note to preview. Then, either create each note individually or run the workflow for all clients at once.

Step 15: If you want, add more details or columns—like a name or additional context—to your notes

Step 16: Add your observations or manual inputs, then go to the note drafter and generate final notes
Step 17: That’s it! The AI group notes feature creates detailed, individual notes for everyone in the session with just one click
With AI group notes, you no longer have to record sessions or create individual documentation from scratch. Just summarize group discussions and let AI do the rest—saving you time and making notes more consistent for every client.
